The debut album of the trio, “Breezes from here and there” is a playfully capture of atmospheres and aims to capture the listener into the vastness of fantasy, like in the old traditions of storytelling. The musicians are aware that cultural appropriation has always been the creative root of music creation. Because of this understanding, Orwa Saleh uses rock riffs in his pieces while Christoph Cech combines expanded chords with maqams. The result is music that shuns comparisons and generalities and is therefore open to any audience.
